Dark Angels

Dark Angels are an Urban competitive dance team from Bristol! Running since 2006 and Choreographed by Charlie Bedford, This group is an elite set of dancers with a range of skills – A choreography group that perform at various championships in the uk and internationally – such as Hip Hop international, world of dance, udo Worlds, and usasf dance worlds where they received world champion status in April 2019.

Dark Angels are a spectacle to watch! They are so clean, sharp and explosive! They would especially be great for corporate events and shows as they would really bring some jaw dropping entertainment to any event! Dark Angels have been together so long that their chemistry and artistry is undeniable. Charlie’s choreography is second to none, imaginative and current! his determination and passion for dance in Bristol shows through in every performance.

Emily Golding-Ellis

Emily is a 27 year old London based professional dancer from Bristol. She is currently choreographing and dancing on Bring Me The Horizon’s “Second Base”, World Tour. Emily trained in Commercial, Contemporary and Ballet for three years and now specialises in Commercial and Street Dance styles such as Hip Hop and Popping. Emily is a member of Mass Movement, Mark Summers, United Productions, CDM, HeadNod, Freeyourstyle, TMA, LoveRudeye, Atmosphere Faces, Event Model Management and Boy Blue Entertainment. She is considered to be a highly motivated, determined, versatile and reliable person with an enthusiastic approach to her career as a professional dancer.

Frankie Johnson

(Artist Alias: Frankie J)

The Red Dread House Head

Originally from Bristol, UK, Frankie is a rare individual who matches his raw natural dance talent with hard work and discipline and has developed into one of the best representing House Dancers internationally of today in his current generation.

Having trained from a young age in numerous dance disciplines – both within contemporary and forms of Street Dance, Frankie was selected to be part of the Swindon Youth Dance Academy where he was mentored by some of the best instructors in the UK. From there, he went on to earn a First Class degree in contemporary dance from London Contemporary Dance School at The Place, graduating in 2013.

Upon finishing his studies, Frankie has focussed mainly on the House Dance style, gaining respect and numerous titles at worldwide competitions and events such as House Dance Europe, IBE, Flavourama, Urban Moves, Step Ya Game Up, Juste Debout & Summer Dance Forever. He was also invited to join Plague Dance Crew & InDaHouse in 2012 where he is now a prominent member of each of their teams.

Now, Frankie’s aim is to share his vision of embodying and combining his physical and mental understanding of his body in harmonising his technical background and training, with his contribution of preserving House music and House Dance Culture of his generation.

Gavin Vincent

A Highly versatile and experienced individual, with a professional dance career of over 12 years, and holding a BSC (hons) in Physiotherapy. Coupled with a professional understanding of athletic and artistic physicality, Gavin is a movement artist with the ability to adapt and mould his style to suite a variety of performance environments.

Having travelled extensively across the USA and Asia to further develop as an artist, Gavin is a senior member of the UK’s most prolific breaking crew, the Soul Mavericks. Primarily trained in Bboying (break-dance), he has honed and developed a unique style, combining intricate and technical movements with fluid and smooth power moves.

Now with expanded training and skill sets to include physical theatre, screen and stage dramatic combat and establishing a keen eye for movement direction and choreography, has enabled work across a wide spectrum, in both performance and creative capacities.

Ahmed Zada

Ahmed Zada is a self-taught street dancer specialising in popping with over 13 years experience. He had the opportunity to compete in various competitions and perform in several shows. Most notably he performed in Breakin’ Convention which is a Sadler Well’s theatre (the UK’s most renowned dance theatre). During university he was the dance director of Fuze, England’s largest student run show with all proceedings going to charity. Ahmed has also worked with brands such as the international shoe brand Duke and Dexter to be part of their campaign #INMYDDs.Ahmed was booked through ExElle for Breakin Convention Bristol (pic below) where he performed with two over local dancers and brought the has down!
