Laura is a 24-year-old dancer, choreographer and teacher based in the South West. She is a commercial performer with elements of hip hop and waacking but has experience in burlesque, house, popping and jazz. Laura has been competing nationally in hip hop for over 6 years and has served on the committee of Bristol-based collective Sublime Dance Troupe since 2016. During her time with Sublime the group have won several competitions including the 2019 UDO British Championships and have showcased their skills on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Laura has lived and performed all over the world and values her experiences, as it has allowed her to gain knowledge of a range of different styles. She is a highly experienced choreographer, creating numerous pieces for Sublime and she currently teaches teenage competition crews at Red X in Bristol, where she relishes the opportunity to share her passion and expertise whilst watching others grow in confidence.
Over the years Laura has danced at a variety of events such as Bristol Pride, Redfest, Bristol Harbour Festival and Love Saves The Day. Performances such as these have allowed her to show off her larger-than-life personality, both in group pieces and in solos, and she thrives off entertaining crowds and taking on new challenges.
She understands the value of dancing and performing, and always brings high energy, body positivity, and a whole lot of sassiness to the stage!
